The HHIHS athletic dept would like to announce the hiring of the new head varsity girls basketball coach ……Russell Raniszewski. Coach Raniszewski attended Coker University as a 3-year starter on the Coker men’s basketball team. He graduated with a BS in Sports Management and a Master of Science from Coker University in College Athletic Administration.
The Athletic Department and the All Sports Booster Club will be hosting winter awards night on Tuesday, March 3rd at 6pm in the SCC. All winter athletes jv and varsity are encouraged to attend. We will be celebrating the winter seasons and certificates, bars, letters, and team awards will be handed out.
The 2019 Seahawk Classic begins Saturday 12/21 and continues through 12/23. There are two divisions a Gold and Silver division for both girls and boys teams new this year and there will be a total of 32 teams participating. The School District has updated the paperwork for the 2019-2020 school year. The district is requiring that all team tryouts prior to June 2019 need to have a new physical (dated after 4/1/19) and the 2019-2020 paperwork completed prior to trying out.
