Lady Seahawks Summer Basketball Schedule

Lady Seahawks basketball players: This summer is an important time building our individual skills and team development towards defending our 2019 region championship.  Below is our June summer basketball schedule.  Although these practices cannot be mandatory, there is a strong connection between player’s success next season and the time they put in during the summer.

Seahawk Summer Basketball Camps

2019-2020 Athletic Paperwork

The School District has updated the paperwork for the 2019-2020 school year.  The district is requiring that all team tryouts prior to June 2019 need to have a new physical (dated after 4/1/19) and the 2019-2020 paperwork completed prior to trying out.  The district is also requiring student-athletes working out during the summer (After June 1st 2019)

Winter Awards Night Thursday 2/21 at 6pm in the SCC

Winter awards night for jv and varsity basketball and wrestling will be held Thursday 2/21 at 6pm in the Seahawk Cultural Center.  All jv and varsity wrestlers and basketball players should attend.

Lady Seahawks Season Ends In “Sweet 16” Loss To Myrtle Beach

Hilton Head couldn’t handle Myrtle Beach in a 62-12 loss in the 2nd round of the SCHSL playoffs.  Miley Ray and Trinity Feltner led the Seahawks with 5 points each, while Myrtle Beach had four players in double-figures led by Asia Smith’s 14 points.

Girls Basketball host Darlington Tuesday at 6pm

The Girls Basketball Team will host Darlington Tuesday 2/12 at 6pm for their 1st round playoff game. Booster passes and BCSD ids are not valid for playoffs. Tickets are $6.

Seahawks earn All Region Awards in Basketball

Senior Davis Molloy and Junior Gaston Moore both earned Region 7AAAA honors for their performance this past season. Trinity Feltner led her team to the 7AAAA region championship while earning Region 7AAAA Player of the Year and All-State Honors. Joining her on the All-Region Team are Miley Ray and Caroline Brammer.  Coach Rochester was named Region COY.

Colleton Edges Hilton Head in Overtime

The Lady Seahawks fell 41-40 in overtime on senior night to Colleton County.  Hilton Head had secured the region championship with their win on Tuesday, and with their win Colleton County secured the 3rd seed in the region.  Trinity Feltner led the Seahawks with 22 points, with 17 points coming in the 2nd half leading
